Day 1: Thessaloniki Int. Airport - Litochoro
On arrival at Thessaloniki Int. Airport you will meet your guide. We will transfer you to Litochoro town on the slopes of Mount Olympus (duration approx. 2 hours). We check into our guesthouse for the overnight stay. A welcome cocktail and a dinner in a local tavern will follow. A member of our team will inform you about the itinerary, the National park and its nature.

Day 2: Prionia - Refuge A
After breakfast we drive to "Prionia" 1100m / 3609feet, the starting point of our trekking tour. We walk through the shady forest and reach refuge Α, where we stay overnight (in dormitories).The refuge's well-equipped kitchen is open from 6a.m. to 8p.m. providing breakfast and homemade Greek recipes.
Trekking time: 3, 5 hours.

Day 3: Refuge A - Peaks
After breakfast we start to hike heading for the Muses plateau. We walk along the foot of the Peaks "Mytikas" and "Stefani" and we have a break at refuge C based at 2650m / 8694 feet, enjoying the panoramic view. After heading to the peak of Profitis Ilias we walk back to Refuge A. Trekking time: 5, 5 hours.

Day 5: Refuge A - Litochoro
Following again the European walking trail E4 we hike back to Prionia. After a lunch break we drive back to our guesthouse. In the afternoon we have our dinner at a local tavern. Trekking time: 2, 5 hours.
Meals: Dinner. Accommodation: Guesthouse Papanikolaou.
Day 6: Enipeas Gorge
Following again the European walking trail E4 we hike back to Prionia. After a lunch break we drive back to our guesthouse. In the afternoon we have our dinner at a local tavern. Trekking time: 2, 5 hours.
Meals: Dinner. Accommodation: Guesthouse Papanikolaou.
Day 6: Enipeas Gorge
This morning we start walking the Enipeas river gorge. The trekking tour is part of the international E4 hiking trail. There are many picturesque waterfalls, bridges and small lakes to admire as we walk through this beautiful area, crossing the river many times. The length of this trekking tour is 9 km and lasts approximately 5,5 hours. After hiking during the daytime, we will serve you a farewell dinner in a local tavern and have a last party together.

Day 12: Thessaloniki Int. Airport After breakfast, we transfer you to Thessaloniki International Airport for your return flight.

Today we start our hiking tour following the European walking route E4 up to the peak "Skala" 2866m/9403ft. We continue hiking to the peak "Skolio" 2912m / 9554ft, the second highest peak of the mountain range, where we have a lunch break enjoying the magnificent view to the peak "Mytikas" 2918m / 9576ft. Trekking time: 6 hours.

Today is a culture day, as we visit the famous Monasteries of Meteora, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The monasteries built on spectacular natural sandstone rock pillars, are amongst the most striking sights in Greece. Our travel guide will inform you about the site and the history of the monasteries. The sightseeing lasts approximately 3,5 hours. After lunch in a local tavern we drive with our bus to the picturesque village of Vitsa at the National park of Vikos-Aoos. Meals: Breakfast, Dinner. Accommodation: Guesthouse Selini

According to the Guinness book of records the Vikos Gorge is the world's deepest canyon in proportion to its width. We follow the hiking trail into the gorge and after 6, 5 hours of moderate walking through lush vegetation in the shady canyon, we reach the springs of the river Voidomatis and the village of Vikos. The length of this trekking tour is 11 km/ 6, 83 miles. After lunch we go by bus to the village of Mikro Papigo for an overnight stay.

Day 9: Mikro Papigo - Astraka Mountain Hut - Drakolimni
After breakfast we start the trekking tour to the mountain hut of Astraka, situated at an altitude of 1930m/6332feet. After a break at the hut, we continue our trekking tour to the mountain Lake Drakolimni (2000m/6562 feet) enjoying the magnificent view to the peaks of the Pindos mountain range. Then we hike back to our hut for the overnight.

Day 10: Astraka Mountain Hut - Mikro Papigo
Today we return to the village of Mikro Papigo where we stay for the rest of the day. After lunch we visit the nearby natural pools for a swim and relaxation. Trekking time: 2, 5 hours.

Day 11: Thessaloniki (Leisure day)
After breakfast we drive back to Thessaloniki where you'll have time for some last- minute shopping or a walk at the seaside. In the afternoon we'll enjoy together a farewell dinner at a local tavern.
