The Langtang classic trek offers to take you through the diversified beauty of Nepal along with viewing the highest peaks of the world at close quarters. The Langtang Himal is a region geographically based in the north part outside of the Kathmandu valley and in close proximity just south of the Tibetan border. This gracious, beautiful and lush green valley is surrounded by high peaks of great appeal.
It has become famous ever since the British mountaineer Bill Tilman described it as the most beautiful valley in the world. The highest peak in this area is Shisapangma or Gosaithan 8027m in Tibet. The course from the Langtang valley to Gosaikund is embraced with diverse natural beauty. The Langtang valley is also known as the ''treasure house'' of Alpine plants. The whole valley is carpeted with an array of beautiful flowers during the summer, a specter that should never be missed. This high and isolated region is inhabited by Tamangs whose religious customs, language and dress are similar to that of the Tibetans. Langtang classic trek.

Itienrary of Kathmandu and Langtang Classic Trek

Day 1: Arrive At Kathmandu International Airport and transfer to the Hotel
Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. It is said before Kathmandu used to be a lake. A goddess name Manjushree with her sword cut one part of hill in a place called Chobar and since then people started to live.

Day 2: After breakfast full day Kathmandu sightseeing by private vehicle
Swayambhunath, situated on a hillock about 77m above the level of the Kathmandu Valley is one of the worlds most glorious Buddhist Chaityas, said to be 2000 years old. Swayambhnath is located 4 km west of central Kathmandu.
The Pashupatinath Temple in Kathmandu is a temple of Lord Shiva, with two tiered golden roof and silver doors, is famous for its superb architecture. It is situated 5km east of Kathmandu city. This temple is regarded as one of the holiest sites for Hindus all over the world. Visitors can clearly seen the temple and the activities performed in the temple premises from the eastern bank of the Bagmati river.
The stupa of Bouddhnath is an ancient Buddhist monument and is the biggest stupa in Nepal. It is located 5km east of central Kathmandu. The stupa stands on a three-tiered platform raised over the crossed rectangles. Every Buddhist come to visit Boudhanath for making round the stupa. Buddhist believes Boudha Stupa is the mind of Buddha.
The another attraction of Kathmandu is Kathmandu Durbar Square, is the historic seat of royalty. It is located at the heart of Kathmandu Ciy. The durbar square, with its old temples and places, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. The king of Nepal that kings used to get crowned and their coronations solemnized before the monarchy was abolished. Another attraction of this Durbar is we can see Kumari, the living child goddesses of Nepal . Kumari is believed to have supreme power. That is why the King of the Nepal used to bow and take blessing from him as well.
Patan Durbar Square complex, situated in the center of Patan city, also known as Lalitpur, houses the residence of the former Patan royal family. Patan Square and its surroundings are good specimen of ancient Newari architecture. There are three main courtyards in the palace: Mul Chowk, Sundari Chowk and Keshav Narayan Chowk. Mul Chowk, the oldest one is located at the centre of Patan square. After visiting these all unique and superb places we will back to hotel .

Day 3: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi 1503m. 9 hours Drive.
Enjoy the scenetic foothills and narrow road via Dhunche and the view of Ganesh Mountain, terrace type hill and green hills can be seen.

Day 4: Trek from Syabru Besi to Lama Hotel 2470m. 5:30 hours trek.
Cross through Bhote Koshi and scenary of Langtang stream, monastery, headquarters of the Langtang National Park, and different villages’ culture can be seen
Overnight at lodge.
Day 5: Trek from Lama Hotel to Langtang village 3430m via Ghore Tabela. 6 hours trek
View of white monkeys, birds and forest can be seen.
Overnight at lodge.
Day 6: Trek from Langtang Village to Kyanjin 3830m. 3 hours trek.
Village scenary, yak pasture, small stream and moraines with snow covered peaks surrounding you in all directions can be seen. In addition, enjoy the panoramic views of Dorje Larpa 6990m, Langtang Ri 6370m, Langtang Lirung 7245m and several other peaks in Kyanjin
Overnight at lodge.
Day 7: Stay at Kyanjin
Visit the monastery, the cheese factory, walk up the moraine to see the spectacular ice faces and tumbling glaciers of Langtang Lirung or ascend Kyangjin Ri 4350m, directly behind the village, for a breath-taking panorama of the Langtang peaks.

Day 8: Trek from Kyangjin Gompa to Lama Hotel. 6 hours trek.
Rivers, small villages and forest views on the way
Overnight at lodge.
Day 9: Trek from Lama Hotel 2470m to Thulo Syabru 2250m.
5 hours trek Red pandas, monkeys and various bird species can be seen on the way if you are lucky.
Overnight at lodge.
Day 10: Trek from Thulo Syabru to Sing Gompa. 5 hours trek
Enjoy the view of Langtang, Ganesh and Tibetan Mountains, oak, Hemlock and forests.
Overnight at lodge.
Day 11: Trek from Sing Gompa to Dhunche 1960m. 4 hours trek
Scenary of streams passing through forests, a small village and green terrace hill is on the way. Trek to Dhunche.
Overnight at lodge.
Day 12: Drive from Dhunche to Kathmandu by bus. 7 hours drive.
Transfer to the hotel. Free time for individual activities. Overnight at hotel.
Day 13: Free time until departure to airport for your forward destination.
